The Role
We are looking for a reliable, friendly part-time evening pickup/delivery driver to handle residential laundry pickups and deliveries. This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent part-time work that can supplement their income
You will be the face of SudDrop. Most customers only interact with our driver, so professionalism and communication are key.
Schedule
- Afternoon/Evening shifts only
- 3 to 4 shifts per week
- Approximately 3 to 4 hours per shift
Pay and Compensation
- Guaranteed minimum pay
- $20/hr
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.65/km
- Paid trial shift
- Keep 100% of tips
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver customer laundry within assigned time windows
- Follow delivery and building access instructions carefully
- Communicate clearly if issues arise during a route
- Handle customer items with care and professionalism
- Represent SudDrop positively at every interaction
- Use SudDrop’s software to manage route.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable 4-door vehicle
- Smartphone with data access
- Customer service mindset, friendly personality
- Comfortable driving in Halifax and surrounding areas
- Ability to carry up to 40lbs bags of laundry (important)
