Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor/Front Desk Associate to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth overnight operations (cleaning), providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining the hotel’s standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and comfortable working during nighttime hours. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to assist our diverse guest base.
Duties
- Welcome and check-in guests efficiently and courteously using front desk systems
- Manage guest reservations, check-outs, and account settlements accurately
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of overnight activities and financial transactions
- Perform nightly audits of guest accounts and prepare reports for management
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist guests with concierge services such as providing local information or arranging transportation
- Uphold security procedures by monitoring access points and ensuring guest safety
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or hospitality and commercial cleaning preferred; hotel experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest service software preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and procedures is advantageous
- Flexibility to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
