JOB SUMMARY
Erie Meats is seeking a dependable and hardworking parts room administrator to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting both our maintenance and operations departments by ensuring all required parts are available, inventory levels are accurate, and materials are well organized. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, reliable, and thrives in a fast paced environment.
ABOUT THE POSITION
- Receive and inspect all incoming parts and materials to verify accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase documentation.
- Prepare and ship parts for repair, ensuring all items are packaged appropriately and accompanied by correct documentation.
- Organize, label, and stock parts within designated inventory locations to maintain an efficient and orderly storage system.
- Conduct cycle counts and contribute to broader inventory control processes to support accurate stock management.
- Maintain precise and up to date inventory records, ensuring all transactions are entered correctly and promptly.
- Load and unload deliveries, including the safe handling of heavier components when required, in accordance with company safety standards.
- Ensure the parts area remains clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow and enforce Health and Safety Guidelines as Established by Erie Meat Products to maintain a safe work environment.
REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Previous experience with parts or inventory would be considered as an asset
COMPENSATION
Location: Listowel, ON
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: 2:30 pm – 11:30 pm - Monday – Friday, weekends as necessary
Hourly wage: $23.00 Hourly *OT rate (1½) paid after 44 hours
