Role Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team at Crazy Creek Hot Pools Resort. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and can work both independently and as part of a team to help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests!

Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Upkeep:
- Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, public and common areas throughout the resort.
- Change bed linens and make beds to hotel standards, ensuring fresh and comfortable accommodations for all guests.
- Perform tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, cleaning windows, to ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere.
- Replenish amenities, empty trash, and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards set by the resort.
- Report any maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns promptly.
- Follow and complete assigned cleaning checklists to ensure quality control.
Guest Service and Communication:
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor, replenish, and report inventory levels of cleaning materials and amenities as necessary.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and comply with hygiene and cleanliness regulations.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.
Skills and Qualifications:
- WHMIS training or willing to purchase training prior to start date.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in performing cleaning tasks to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively, demonstrating initiative and reliability in completing assigned tasks.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure they are completed within designated timeframes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Physical stamina to perform various cleaning tasks, change bedding including on bunk beds, and lift/move objects as required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Excellent and positive communication skills to interact with co-workers and guests in a professional manner
**Must be able to reliably commute to work, which is especially important for any on-call shifts. Therefor must live in the Malakwa / Sicamous area, or within a 30 minute radius of Crazy Creek Resort**
Dependant on experience, candidates preference, and operational needs at Crazy Creek Resort, this role could have the option to include Front Desk responsibilities as well.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
