Job Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to ensure the smooth operation and safety of our facilities. This role involves performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance to uphold the integrity of equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be proactive and capable of working independently to maintain a safe and efficient environment. Would suit semi-retired individual looking for some part-time work.
Duties
- Perform repairs, cleaning and maintenance tasks on equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure as needed
- Coordinate maintenance tasks with management
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in general maintenance, repair work, or related fields
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and basic carpentry is preferred but not required
- Woodworking repair skills preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and implement effective solutions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability
- Physical ability to lift objects, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks as required
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC certification, electrician license) are a plus but not mandatory
Pay: $25.00 per hour
