Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport is on the hunt for a skilled Outlet Server to join our lively team. If you have a knack for delivering exceptional guest experiences, executing flawless food presentation, and ensuring top-tier safety and satisfaction, we want you!
What you will be doing?

Greet all guests warmly and take beverage and food orders promptly and professionally, ensuring a fast and courteous service experience.

Prepare and present food and beverages to hotel guests according to established brand, health, and presentation standards.

Clear and clean tables promptly and efficiently, including wiping down chairs, walls, windows, mirrors, and floors as necessary to keep the outlet immaculate.

Perform essential side-work, opening, and closing duties, maintaining a clean and well-stocked station throughout your shift.

Alert Outlet Management to any service or safety issues, and make proactive service recovery gestures to guarantee total guest satisfaction.

Securely handle guest payments and accurately process cash, credit, and room charge transactions according to established financial procedures.

Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with guests, wait staff, cooks, and supervisors.

Follow safe work procedures, wear required PPE, comply with Occupational Health & Safety regulations, and participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
What are the requirements this role?
-
Previous food service experience with a strong working knowledge of restaurant operations, ideally within a hotel or resort environment.

Valid alcohol awareness certification (e.g., Smart Serve) and/or a valid health/food handler card as required by local or provincial government agencies.

Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and kitchen staff during high-volume shifts.
-
Solid reading, writing, and basic math skills to accurately take orders, complete operational paperwork, and handle financial transactions.
-
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds (including heavy trays, plates, and glasses), remain stationary for extended periods, and frequently bend, stoop, and kneel.

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on property needs.
