Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial trucks over long distances to deliver freight efficiently and safely. Duties
- Safely operate long-haul trucks across regional and national routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
- Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs, perform basic automotive repairs, and report any mechanical issues
- Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, routes, and vehicle logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Assist with warehouse operations including freight handling and inventory management when required
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving, especially long-distance or over-the-road routes
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts is preferred
- Familiarity with freight handling, automotive repair basics, and safety protocols in transportation environments
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and route planning software is a plus

Pay: $44,166.13-$70,000.00 per year
