Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of resident rooms, public areas, and facilities. Your dedication to high standards of cleanliness will ensure a welcoming environment that delights our guests and supports our commitment to exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely to achieve optimal results while adhering to safety protocols.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold safety standards.
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling to promote environmental sustainability.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and steam cleaners safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
- Familiarity with hospitality or industrial cleaning environments is advantageous.
