What You’ll Do
As a Pest Control & Wildlife Technician, you will inspect properties, identify pest or wildlife issues, recommend solutions, and complete services safely and professionally.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting homes, buildings, businesses, roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and exterior areas
- Identifying pest activity, wildlife entry points, and contributing conditions
- Completing rodent, insect, bird, and wildlife control services
- Using methods such as baiting, trapping, exclusion, sealing, and treatment applications
- Providing clear recommendations and cost estimates to customers
- Offering approved service upgrades or new service options when appropriate
- Maintaining accurate service records, photos, and treatment notes
- Communicating professionally with customers, office staff, and managers
- Keeping your vehicle, tools, equipment, and materials organized
Who We’re Looking For
Previous pest control experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person.
This role is a good fit for someone who is reliable, physically capable, good with customers, and comfortable working independently.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong English communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Good time management and problem-solving ability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with ladders and at heights
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, roofs, and occasional confined spaces
- Willingness to work outdoors and in different environments
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Assets, but not required:
- Pest control experience
- Construction, roofing, restoration, landscaping, or handyman experience
- Sales or customer service experience
- Experience using tools, ladders, or working at heights
