Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscaping Laborer to join our team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, supporting various landscaping and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Prior experience with construction, mechanical tools, or irrigation systems is a plus.
Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
- Support excavation activities using equipment such as excavators when necessary
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
- Perform general gardening duties including planting, pruning, and soil preparation
- Help with construction-related tasks such as setting foundations or building landscape features
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain clean work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture, or related construction work is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools are advantageous
- Experience operating excavators or irrigation systems is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transporting equipment or materials as needed
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
