Full-Time Exterior Painter – Thomas Painting (Cowichan Valley)
Thomas Painting is hiring motivated full-time painters to join our exterior residential painting crews in the Cowichan Valley. We are looking for hardworking, reliable team members who are comfortable working outdoors, on ladders, and in a fast-paced environment. No previous painting experience is required — full training is provided.
This position is ideal for students or young adults looking to build skills, work with a strong team, and earn competitive pay over the painting season.
Responsibilities
- Prepare exterior surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, priming, and caulking
- Paint residential homes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Load, unload, and organize painting equipment and materials
- Follow safety procedures while working on ladders and around job sites
- Maintain clean and professional job sites
- Communicate respectfully with homeowners and crew members
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Requirements
- Reliable vehicle or transportation
- Comfortable working on ladders and outdoors
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift and carry painting equipment
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
- Availability Monday–Friday
