Murphy’s Sportfishing is looking for a new team member to join them at their remote Kyuquot lodge on Vancouver Islands West Coast, serving vacationing anglers from all over the world.
Position: Morning Cook, Prep Cook & Baking (Sous Chef)
Duties include (not limited to):
- Kitchen Prep & Chef assistant
- Baking (desserts / cookies/flat breads/muffins/etc
- Buffet Breakfast Preparation for guests and crew
- Some serving and dining room help
- Cleaning and maintaining Food Safe Standards
Live in summer position, we work every day., private accommodations and meals provided for no charge. Serving guests from all over the world while on their dream vacation of a lifetime. The atmosphere is upbeat, healthy, positive and fun. Your natural demeanor needs to be positive and friendly. You can communicate well with others and be a team player.
Great pay and generous gratuities. Completion Bonus in addition to daily rate.
Candidates need to be prepared to work through Sept 5. The option for an extension to our other lodge that runs Sept 13-mid October a possibility. Also consideration for a full season in 2027
Transportation provided from central Vancouver Island to lodge.
