W.S. Bell Cartage, is a leading transportation company committed to providing unparalleled customer service. Located in Kitchener, Ontario, our company is rooted in the family values of responsibility, quality and trust. We are looking for a Dispatcher Planner/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position is for our day shift, hours of work are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as main point of contact to customers delivering a positive customer experience
- Serve as a main point of contact for drivers
- Provide superior customer service through organization, planning and prioritization of customer needs
- Maintain outstanding and mutually beneficial relationships with both customers and drivers
- Prepare and submit prompt customer spot and rate quotes
- Identify, select and negotiate to ensure customer needs are consistently met and exceeded
- Accurately complete order entry and customer contracts in Fleet Manager
- Provide accurate information to drivers for pickup and delivery assignments
- Track and trace shipments to provide necessary customer updates
- Coordinate all necessary paperwork with customers and drivers
- Resolve customer issues promptly, accurately and mutually
- Other projects and duties as required

Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or US inbound dispatching
- College or University Degree preferred
- Flatbed / over-dimensional / dry van / reefer knowledge is an asset
- Knowledge of Fleet Manager and Loadlink is an asset
- Spanish / French language proficiency is an asset
