Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our team and support various building projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople with construction tasks, ensuring safety, and maintaining a productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques, and a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
Duties
- Assist with the use of hand tools and power tools for construction tasks such as framing, demolition, and finishing.
- Support carpentry activities including measuring, cutting, and installing materials based on blueprints or schematics.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist in project execution.
- Perform tasks related to caulking, painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration as needed.
- Operate or help operate equipment for demolition or material handling under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site by disposing of debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist with the installation of flooring, tiles, or other finishing elements as directed by supervisors.
- Support skilled trades in complex tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, or welding when required.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings is a plus.
- Experience with carpentry, caulking, restoration work, painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is beneficial but not required.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately and safely is essential.

Pay: $19.00-$36.00 per hour
