## Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal parts and components, ensuring high-quality finishes.
## Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for the powder coating process by cleaning and prepping surfaces
- Apply powder coating using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Monitor and adjust oven temperatures to cure powder coating
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
## Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge to operate powder coating equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools for preparation and finishing work
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing coatings
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is advantageous
- Ability to use power tools, cranes, weld, fabricate, and assemble components efficiently
