In addition to a competitive rate of pay, RA currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
As an Instructor, you will be an expert practitioner and key educator in support of both nursing staff and the multi-disciplinary clinical team. You will take a leadership role in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of education for nursing staff including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development. You will collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational and evidence informed practice. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Recovery Alberta.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Previous CNE experience and/or 5 years of clinical experience in acute care, medicine, emergency, or relevant AMH area. Ability and experience creating and delivering presentations/in services to a multi-disciplinary team. Skill and experience teaching/ presenting to adult learners. Knowledge and ability to act as a leader/support, understand when/how to step in and act as a resource. Ability to assess learning needs of staff to support practice and ongoing development within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated ability to recognize complex problems and seek solutions. Demonstrated ability to partner with managers and leaders to implement change. Ability to support staff in medical management of codes. Ability to lead/support debriefs following code response required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related health field. Change management knowledge and experience. Quality improvement methodology. eSIMs facilitator. Strong knowledge of the Connect Care system and documentation processes. Experience with using data to support quality improvement.
