Torus Talent is supporting a well-established, employee-owned engineering consultancy in their search for a Project Manager to join their growing team.
This firm has a long-standing presence in British Columbia, delivering innovative solutions across municipal infrastructure, land development, and community-based projects, including work with Indigenous communities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects across the full lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of technical engineering, project management, and client interaction within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
- Manage and deliver municipal and community infrastructure projects from planning through to construction
- Work within and lead multidisciplinary project teams across engineering and planning scopes
- Support and mentor junior staff delivering infrastructure projects
- Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and engineering documentation
- Coordinate with CAD teams on the development of design drawings and specifications
- Prepare construction bid documents and support procurement processes
- Administer construction contracts (CCDC/MMCD experience considered an asset)
- Support construction activities, including site inspections, quality control, and assurance
- Contribute to proposal preparation for new project opportunities
- Support client relationship development and stakeholder engagement
- Assist in the development of community engagement materials and facilitate project workshops
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- 8+ years of engineering experience, preferably within a consulting environment
- P.Eng. designation in BC or eligibility for immediate registration
- Experience delivering municipal infrastructure or land development projects
- Strong understanding of engineering design, construction processes, and project delivery
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for project work
- Ability to conduct field work, including site visits in varying terrain and conditions
- Experience working with Indigenous communities or Indigenous Services Canada projects
- Familiarity with ISC funding processes
- Experience in subdivision or land development design
- Experience with community engagement and stakeholder coordination
- Established, employee-owned engineering consultancy with a strong reputation in BC
