Omni Sport supplies and manufactures arena and recreational facility equipment for customers across North America. With a history spanning over 40+ years in the athletic construction industry, we are known for quality products, strong customer relationships, and customized solutions for sports and recreation facilities.
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Production Labourer to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role supports the production, assembly and fabrication of recreational systems and related products.
The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience working with tools, equipment, and assembly processes in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Apply cladding materials to dasher board systems in accordance with production specifications and quality standards.
- Assist with the assembly, fabrication, and finishing of recreational equipment and related products.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Prepare materials and components for production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Additional tasks may be assigned as required, depending on project needs. On occasion, support may be needed for off-site installations for a duration of approximately 7–10 days. These off-site opportunities provide valuable exposure to the final installation phase and offer broader insight into the full project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, fabrication, assembly, or a related hands-on environment.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and production instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
- CSTS 2020 Certification
Omni Sport Inc. offers:
