About the Role: Join the dynamic fulfillment team at Tenda Canada in Calgary. As one of Canada’s premier retailers for hunting, shooting, and outdoor equipment, our e-commerce operations are growing rapidly. We are seeking a physically fit, fast, and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to ensure our customers' online orders are verified, securely packed, and shipped out accurately and safely across Canada, while maintaining strict adherence to federal firearm transport and compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment (Pick & Pack): Accurately pick products from inventory and pack high-end outdoor equipment, firearms, and ammunition for shipment, ensuring all items are securely and professionally packaged according to legal safety regulations.
- Logistics & Shipping Support: Prepare shipping labels, verify order accuracy against invoices, double-check firearm serial numbers, and collaborate with major couriers to ensure timely daily dispatches.
- Inventory & Receiving Support: Assist with receiving incoming shipments, loading/unloading goods, organizing stock, and performing regular inventory counts to maintain high data accuracy.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the shipping station and warehouse environment clean, safe, organized, and compliant with safety regulations to optimize daily workflow.
Qualifications:
- Licensing (MANDATORY): Must hold a valid Canadian Possession and Acquisition License (PAL).
- Location: Must be residing in or able to reliably commute to Calgary, AB.
- Legal Status: Must have valid legal working status in Canada (Citizen, PR, or valid Work Permit).
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically strong and capable of frequent heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs, e.g., bulk ammunition boxes) and standing for long periods.
- Detail-Oriented: A strong sense of responsibility with an absolute focus on safety and accuracy to ensure the correct products and compliant shipments reach our customers.
- Experience: Previous experience in e-commerce fulfillment, shipping, packing, or warehouse logistics is highly preferred.
