Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented preposé, housekeeper, or ama de llaves del hotel to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of our hotel accommodations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring guest satisfaction through meticulous cleaning and organization. Experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is highly valued, along with a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust or debris
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, and other common areas
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Assist with laundry services as needed
- Adhere to established protocols for guest privacy and security
- Support team members in completing daily tasks efficiently
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for both hospitality settings and industrial environments is a plus
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service expectations is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
