We are looking to add a Senior Project Manager to our Western Canada Team.
As a Senior Project Manager you will plan, organize, direct and control the work of construction sites to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and at the highest level of quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read the technical and administrative specifications of the project to be executed;
- Acquire the necessary technical and administrative information from the persons involved during the submission;
- Obtain blueprints and specifications for construction and compare them to bid plans;
- Report changes to professionals and claim costs;
- Mentor and develop junior staff members, providing guidance on project management best practices and career growth;
- Lead projects in uncharted territory, developing innovative solutions when traditional approaches may not be sufficient;
- Obtain licenses and permits as needed for the execution of the work;
- Draft contracts and agreements, negotiate terms and award them to subcontractors;
- Develop the prevention program requested for CNESST and monitor it on site;
- Establish the schedule (dates, main stages of construction, constraints, methodology) and / or the critical path of the project and monitor it weekly;
- Inform the superintendent of the project and discuss with him and the director of the proposed methods;
- Place orders for critical materials, negotiate prices and prepare contract documents, in collaboration with the construction manager, for subcontractors;
- Coordinate and participate in various meetings;
- Establish and maintain a professional and continuous positive rapport with the client, etc.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation, EBC Inc. has included the expected salary range for this role, which is $120,000 – $170,000. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity. Base salary is one component of EBC’s comprehensive total rewards offering, which may include performance-based incentives, extended health and wellness benefits, retirement savings programs, and career development opportunities.
