Regalton Rental Group is a locally owned growing vacation rental and property management company committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and outstanding service to property owners. As our business continues to expand, we're looking for a proactive, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting our daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, communicates professionally, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage emails, phone calls, and guest inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate reservations, calendars, and scheduling.
- Assist with onboarding new properties and maintaining property records.
- Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Maintain digital filing systems and company databases.
- Coordinate with cleaning, maintenance, and vendor partners.
- Assist with invoicing, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping.
- Support management with administrative and operational tasks.
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day office and business operations.
Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of administrative, office, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with property management software (Guesty, Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, etc.) is considered an asset but not required.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.

Employment Type and Location
- Full-Time:
o Approximately 40 hours per week, 5 days a week.
- This position is primarily office-based in Halifax.
- Weekend and holidays work is required based on operational and guest service needs.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, and overnight shifts is required.
- Overnight shifts may be scheduled to support guest communications, reservations, and operational requirements during peak periods.
Compensation
- $20 – $25 per hour, based on experience.
