About the Role
We’re looking for enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to join the first Oakberry in Richmond, BC.
In this role, you’ll report to the Richmond leadership team and play a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience in a dynamic, on-the-go environment.
- Lead daily shifts and support the team during busy periods.
- Open and close the store independently.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members.
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and brand standards are maintained.
- Assist with staff scheduling and shift coverage.
- Complete inventory counts, stock rotation, and receive deliveries.
- Monitor store performance using Square and assist with daily operational reporting.
- Help maintain a positive, energetic team culture.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience in a café, restaurant, or quick-service environment.
- Experience with Square POS
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable opening and closing the store.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Food Safe Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain it).
