The Client Strategy Manager sits at the intersection of Public’s clients and internal teams. They are responsible for the strategic direction and growth of clients. In alignment with Public’s values and behaviours, Client Strategy Managers work closely with external and internal teams to deliver strategic and creative projects that span across Impact Branding, Platforms, and Campaigns.
The key accountabilities for the Client Strategy Manager sits across three main functional areas:
1. Strategic Development: Leverages their experience to lead the strategic direction and oversight on a core group of clients. They will contribute, collaborate and guide the strategy development including research, insights, impact brand strategy, impact platforms, impact campaigns and sustainability marketing. They will work collaboratively with other members of the Public team wherever needed across all stages of the strategy process.
2. Client Management: With support from Senior Leadership and other members of the client strategy team as required, they are responsible for the relationship, management and growth of a portfolio of clients. Including providing outstanding service to clients and by identifying opportunities through a thorough understanding of the businesses, brands, customers and competitive environments of clients.
3. Project Oversight: Maintains a high level overview of client projects including scopes of work, budgets and allocations as well as the continued financial management (invoicing and projections). Ensures that client work and deliverables meet both Public’s internal and the client’s expectations of quality, impact, timeliness, and measurable results. Works collaboratively with other internal teams at Public and with the client on overall project management of timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Have real work experience in / and a keen interest in the purpose / social impact space;
- 2-3+ years of social impact, account management, brand management, or related marketing experience is essential, with complementary business or product-line management, entrepreneurial or consulting experience preferred;
- Located in the GTA or within close proximity for travel to the Public Inc Toronto office;
- Strong strategic thinker with a genuine curiosity about people and social/environmental issues;
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research, synthesise learnings and distil into actionable insights in a client presentation format;
- Ability to problem-solve client business needs, build trusted relationships with senior leadership, and a passion for large-scale social impact are keys for success in this role;
- Strong knowledge of and experience with multi-channel marketing;
- Exceptional ability as a problem-solver;
- Proven project management skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both as an author and a presenter.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
