Little Stinkers Natural Pet Foods & Grooming is looking for a hardworking, dependable, and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who loves animals, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent care for pets.
As a Pet Bather, you will play an important role in our grooming department by preparing pets for grooming services and ensuring they are comfortable, clean, and well cared for throughout their visit. We are looking for someone who works well with others and will be a positive addition to our professional, family-oriented team.
Duties
- Bathe, dry, brush, and prepare dogs and cats for grooming appointments.
- Safely handle pets of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Assist groomers with pet handling and general salon tasks as needed.
- Monitor pets for signs of stress or discomfort and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing bathing and grooming areas.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with pet owners.
- Help maintain the overall cleanliness and presentation of the grooming salon.
Requirements
- Previous animal handling or bathing experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Ability to safely lift and handle large and heavy dogs.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Genuine love for animals and commitment to their care and well-being.
