Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and care, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. Prior experience in the food industry is preferred but not required, as training will be provided for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Adhere to health regulations and maintain a sanitized work environment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Experience with serving guests and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
