We are looking for an experienced Indian Chef to join our team at our Indian restaurant and meat shop. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing authentic North Indian dishes and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Indian curries, tandoori items, appetizers, and daily specials.
- Maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory and reduce food waste.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
- Work well with the kitchen team during busy hours.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Indian restaurant.
- Experience with tandoor and North Indian cuisine is an asset.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Strong teamwork and time management skills.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
