We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a COOK. This role involves providing exceptional food service, preparing meals, and ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparationtions
Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years;
Cuisine specialties
Caribbean and Latin American cuisine
English
Education
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
