Skaha Lake Motels are a group of locally owned motels located just steps from Skaha Lake in Penticton. We’re a straightforward, hardworking team focused on providing clean, comfortable stays for our guests. Housekeeping is a key part of our operation, especially during the summer season. This is a fast-paced role with a high volume of check-ins and turnovers, so we’re looking for individuals who are reliable, efficient, and ready to work. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in their work, and works well as part of a team.
Pay: $20.50-$22.50 per hour
Job Type: Seasonal, Full-time or Part-time
Schedule: Morning and evening shifts, weekends and holidays as needed
Season: April 15, 2026 – September 15, 2026 (rolling start dates)

Job Description
Reporting to the Management Team, the Housekeeper plays an important role in maintaining guest satisfaction and overall property standards. Responsibilities include:
- Clean and service guest rooms (beds, bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting)
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and guest supplies
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items
- Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Ensure proper handling and care of motel property and equipment
- Assist with laundry and other operational tasks during peak periods
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas (hallways, stairwells, lobby)
- Communicate room status and guest requests with team members
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify managers on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Handle guest interactions professionally when required
- Other duties as required and within the capability of the employee
