Entry-Level Dog Groomer (De-Shed Specialist)
Location: Four on the Floor Dog (Airdrie)
Wage: $16.00/hour + tips
Are you passionate about dogs and looking to start a career in professional grooming? We’re looking for a motivated, dependable, and dog-loving individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Groomer. No professional grooming experience preferred; However, willing to train the right person.
What You’ll Do
● Prepare coats for grooming
● Bathe dogs
● Blow dry and complete the de-shed process
● Clean ears
● Brush teeth
● Trim nails
● Perform light trimming and finishing work
● Maintain a clean grooming area
● Complete daily laundry and cleaning tasks
What We’re Looking For
● Experience working with dogs is required
● Comfortable confidently handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
● Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
● Punctual, reliable, and dependable
● Eager to learn, take direction, and adapt to new skills
● Leadership qualities and strong work ethic
● Able to work independently as well as part of a team
● Committed to creating a positive workplace culture
Physical Requirements
● Able to stand for extended periods
● Able to lift up to 50 lbs
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
