Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. This position involves working on various roofing projects, providing essential labor support, and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for roofing tasks.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper waterproofing of roofs.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation and removal of roofing materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in roofing or construction is Mandatory.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus.
- Skills in carpentry or maintenance person tasks will be advantageous for this role.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical labor consistently throughout the workday.
- A strong commitment to safety practices on job sites is required.
