Overview
We are seeking experienced painters to join our team for various residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction painting, restoration, and related skills. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, professionalism, and excellent craftsmanship. Prior experience in blueprint reading, schematics, and customer service is highly valued. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming as needed for painting projects
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools with attention to detail
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate application of paint and finishes
- Perform restoration work on existing structures, ensuring quality standards are met
- Use rigging techniques when working at heights or on scaffolding to ensure safety and efficiency
- Operate various equipment including power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols throughout all phases of work
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, restoration, or industrial painting
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics for precise application of finishes
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting and carpentry tasks
- Strong knowledge of caulking techniques and surface preparation methods
- Familiarity with rigging practices for working at heights or on scaffolding
