Summary
We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team at Coverall Uniform Linen and Mats Ltd. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring the efficient operation of our cleaning services. This position is a 7/7 shift cycle- Wednesday to Tuesday. We are currently hiring for both day and night shifts
Responsibilities
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of linens, blankets, towels, coveralls, mats, etc.
- Support the loading and unloading of products for delivery
- Operation of manual and automatic laundry systems- training provided
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Accurately gathering products and items to fulfill an order for an or external customer
- Attention to details for correctly identifying and naming bags for delivery
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, repetitive movements). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- WMHIM 2015 training
- 1st Aid certification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a labor or warehouse environment is an asset but not required.
- Some computer knowledge
