Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, assisting customers with their selections, and maintaining the floral displays. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity while providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. The Florist will also support merchandising efforts and contribute to the overall aesthetic of the store, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Duties
- Design and assemble floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and special events
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and design options
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, handle cash and electronic payments accurately
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral display area and storage spaces
- Manage inventory levels of flowers, plants, and supplies; restock as needed
- Utilize e-commerce platforms to process online orders and update product listings
- Implement merchandising strategies to promote seasonal flowers and promotional items
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and achieve sales goals
Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year if experience working in a flower shop and be able to complete arrangements independently
- Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and e-commerce platforms
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in floral arrangement and store presentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Demonstrated sales ability with a focus on customer satisfaction and merchandising excellence
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse customers and team members
