Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bulldozer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating bulldozers and other heavy equipment, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on various construction tasks.
Duties
- Operate bulldozers and other heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, graders, and backhoes, to perform site preparation and grading tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Execute horizontal drilling and paving operations as required by project specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy equipment on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with bulldozers.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues as they arise.
- Experience operating loaders, backhoes, excavators, graders, and performing horizontal drilling is highly desirable.
