Eavestrough Installer, General Laborer, or Soffit & Fascia Installer
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Eavestrough Installer, General Laborer, or Soffit & Fascia Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing and repairing eavestroughs, soffits, and fascia on residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in various construction-related tasks. Responsibilities
- Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Install eavestroughs, soffits, and fascia according to project specifications and schematics
- Prepare work sites by cleaning and setting up scaffolding or ladders safely
- Read blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation procedures
- Use caulking to seal joints and prevent leaks
- Assist with related construction tasks such as framing, restoration, or painting as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Prior experience with hand tools, carpentry, or general construction preferred
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics is a plus
- Ability to work at heights on ladders or scaffolding safely
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various construction tasks
