We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our growing team as an Admin Assistant - AR for the Accounting Group at our Richmond Corporate location.
HME is a fast-growing company, with over 140 full-time staff in offices located in Richmond, South Surrey, Victoria, Nanaimo, Kelowna, North Vancouver, Sechelt, Kamloops, and Abbotsford.
Hours for this role are , in-office, based in our Richmond Head Office, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. HME offers a competitive wage along with a full benefits package inclusive of extended medical benefits. No remote work option is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert rental orders to invoices upon receipt of delivery paperwork
- Invoicing Private and Third-party Rentals
- Prepare Invoices for new rentals within 48 hours of delivery
- Closing of rental buyout invoices
- Set up monthly recurring billing on our CRM system
- Process refunds
- Receives and tenders all payments, does journal posting, sends paid invoices to clients
- Notify Purchasing upon receipt of payment
- Receive payment notifications
- Process payment stubs received in mail
- Prepare reports
- Monthly bank reconciliation of all deposits
- other administrative tasks within the scope of this position
Required Skills:
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments; fluent in English (both verbal and written).
- Strong computer skills (fast)- must be comfortable with MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel.
- Multi-tasking and hardworking (expect to process 30-40 orders a day).
- Must have a friendly, positive attitude and have the ability to have fun while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently while being a team player.
- Accounting experience is an asset.
