About Us
Helmand Kabab House is a busy Afghan restaurant known for our kababs, tikka, and traditional dishes. We're looking for a reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly
- Keep the dish station, sinks, and floors clean and organized
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep and stocking supplies when needed
- Take out garbage and recycling, maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience an asset but not required
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
