At JRS College, we are committed to delivering high-quality education through our ECA Division. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NACC ECA Instructor to provide online instruction, mentor students, and ensure the highest standards of learning and professional development.
Academic & Experience Requirements
- Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Diploma or Degree, registered in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Early Childcare and strong knowledge of best practices in Early Learning and Development
- Flexible, hybrid, and online teaching capabilities
- Commitment to the principles of diversity and inclusion
- Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check, Standard First Aid & CPR Level C, and up-to-date medical immunization records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CRM / LMS systems is preferred
- Demonstrated classroom management, interpersonal, and teaching skills
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare teaching materials and course outlines
- Prepare, administer, and evaluate tests and assignments to assess student progress
- Advise students on program curricula and career pathways
- Conduct teaching sessions through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and practical studies
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards set by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) and the Ontario Career College Act, 2005
- Collaborate with the ECA academic team to enhance program quality and student experience
Work Arrangement & Compensation
- Delivery fully online
- 2 schedules available:
- Tuesday - Friday (9AM - 2PM), Saturday and Sunday: 9AM - 5PM
- Tuesday - Friday (5PM - 10PM), Saturday and Sunday: 9AM - 5PM
- Hourly Wage: CAD $28–30/hr (based on experience)How to Apply
