Job Description:
We are currently hiring experienced and reliable Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across long distances while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 1/AZ commercial vehicles for long-haul routes
- Transport freight safely and on time across provinces and/or cross-border (if applicable)
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate driver logs and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled
- Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and issues
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year of long-haul driving experience (preferred)
- Clean driver’s abstract and safety record
- Knowledge of Canadian and/or US DOT regulations (if cross-border)
- Ability to drive long hours and travel for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and reliability
