Position Overview
We are hiring a Material Handler to move raw material and finished product throughout our facility. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, and experienced operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or metals environment.

- Operate overhead crane to lift, rig, and move steel coils, raw material, and finished bundles
- Operate forklift to supply the mill and cutting lines, stage material, and remove finished product
- Load and unload trucks safely and accurately
- Stage and organize material throughout the warehouse and yard, maintaining accurate material locations
- Verify quantities, labels, and material against shipping and production documentation
- Perform pre-use inspections on cranes, forklifts, and lifting devices
- Follow safety policies including PPE, safe rigging and lifting practices, and lockout/tagout where applicable
- Communicate with operators, shipping/receiving, and supervisors for smooth material flow
- Other duties as assigned

- 3–5 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or metal processing
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Strong communication skills and team orientation
