Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, cakes, pastries, and cookies with precision and creativity
- Decorate and baking techniques to enhance visual appeal
- Follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly adhered to at all times
- Manage food preparation tasks efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Package baked items carefully for display or takeout, ensuring freshness and quality
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with inventory management by checking supplies and notifying management of stock levels
Requirements
- Proven experience with minimum of 7months-1 year experience in baking or pastry arts, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong skills in decorating, food preparation, and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with guests, co-workers and/or customers when needed
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience with familiarity in food packaging and presentation standards
- A passion for baking and creating visually appealing desserts that delight customers

Pay: $18.36-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28.0 – 32.0 per week
