About the Role
As a Construction Laborer, you'll play a crucial role on our site team. You'll work on a wide variety of projects, from residential renovations and new builds to commercial jobs and shoreline work. Your primary goal will be to assist the project and management teams in ensuring a successful project delivery. This includes collaborating with our carpenters and subcontractors while helping us maintain a safe, clean, and productive job site.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting our carpenters with a wide range of tasks, including demolition, framing, concrete work, drywall, painting, and more.
- Handling materials and keeping the job site organized and clean.
- Supporting the project team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Adhering to our health and safety policies to create a safe work environment for everyone.
- Taking on new duties as your skills and experience develop.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: No prior experience is required for the right candidate, but we prefer those with 3+ years of experience in the construction field.
- Certifications: You must have WHMIS and Working at Heights/Basics of Fall Protection certifications. Additional certifications (EWP, skid steer, etc.) are a definite plus.
- Skills: We value strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to safety.
- Transportation: You must have a reliable form of transportation to get to various job sites.

Work Environment: This is an on-site position. While our typical work week is Monday to Friday, there may be opportunities for overtime and weekend work based on project needs.
