We are looking for a detail-oriented Flooring Estimator & Sales Coordinator to join our team in Milton, ON.
The primary focus of this role is preparing accurate estimates and quotations for builders, contractors, and homeowners using Microsoft Excel and other computer software. This position also includes showroom sales, customer service, and general office administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate flooring estimates and quotations for builders and customers.
- Work extensively with Microsoft Excel to calculate material quantities, pricing, and project costs.
- Review floor plans, measurements, and project specifications.
- Communicate with builders, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
- Follow up on quotations and customer inquiries.
- Assist walk-in customers in the showroom with product selection.
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and sales documentation.
- Coordinate orders and deliveries with suppliers.
- Maintain organized project records and administrative files.
Requirements
- Experience in the flooring industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills are essential.
- Experience preparing estimates or quotations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience reading floor plans is an asset.
