Permanent Irrigation is looking for an experienced Commercial Foreman to join our growing team working in the Greater Vancouver area.

What you'll be doing
- Leading a crew of two to five on commercial irrigation installations from layout through commissioning
- Reading and working from irrigation drawings, landscape plans and civil site plans
- Setting out mainline, laterals, valve locations and head layout, and calling out conflicts before they become change orders
- Programming controllers, balancing zones, adjusting arcs and verifying coverage
- Keeping daily records on our app — hours, quantities installed, materials used, site conditions and delays
- Producing as-builts and walking the client through the finished system
- Working with the estimator and project manager on quantities, extras and schedule
- What we're looking for
- Required
- Three or more years running commercial or multi-family irrigation installations, including at least one as a foreman or lead hand
- Confident reading irrigation and landscape drawings, and comfortable doing your own field layout from them
- Hands-on with Rain Bird, Hunter and Toro controllers and valves, and with two-wire and conventional control systems
- Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence and a clean driving record
- Able to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors year-round, and work at pace on active construction sitesWe would supply you with a Van, all necessary tools, and any additional training you would need. This is a full time position and we work rain or shine.If you are applying for this position you will need at least one year of installation experience and be comfortable in all aspects of the installation of irrigation systems. If not feel free to contact us for a laborer position within our company with the training to be a foreman.We also offer extended medical and dental after a three month probationary period.Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $29.00 to $36.00 /hour
