We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team and provide excellent patient care. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, be comfortable working with a variety of dental equipment, and have excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will also be responsible for sterilizing instruments, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting the dentist during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, maintaining sterilization standards
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Tracker ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proficiency.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with OSHA regulations
Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting is required, with a minimum of two years preferred
- Familiarity with dental software Tracker preferred (not necessary)
- Knowledge of procedures such as , restorations, extractions, root canals, orthodontic, crown/bridge, implants, dentures
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health care
- Certification in Dental Assisting Level II

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
