Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper / Administrator to join our North Vancouver-based HVAC company. In person training would be in North Van. Once trained you would work independently out of your home (preferably in North or West Van. or nearby to) ; must have space for home office area. This vital role combines advanced bookkeeping responsibilities with office management duties. Wide variety of duties include everything from answering the phone and emails, scheduling appointments, permitting, to all bookkeeping duties. Excellent people skills and typing skills required. Must be able to prioritize and organize daily tasks to meet companies needs. Must be able to work independently. Work from home, preferably in North or West Vancouver. Remuneration negotiable $35-$40 per hour, dependent on experience. Extended health care available after probationary period. Must have references and live within reasonable commuting distance.
Requirements/Responsibilites
- Proven experience in full cycle bookkeeping, preferably within a similar industry setting, including invoicing, payables, payroll, etc.
- Proficiency in accounting Sage software
- Experience with Jobber or Housecall or similar(not mandatory)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Communicate with technicians and customers to ensure jobs are running efficiently and on schedule
- Dispatch technicians with minimal supervision
- Manage incoming calls, emails and customer inquiries
- Equipment ordering and tracking
- Resolve issues with minimal supervision
