About the role As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will make an impact by defining, governing, and delivering the end-to-end technical architecture for a new Salesforce Partner Portal built on Salesforce Experience Cloud (LWR framework) to support Dealer and Distributor management. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with the hiring manager, primary team, and other stakeholders and teams. In this role, you will:
Lead the Experience Cloud architecture using the LWR framework, ensuring scalability, performance, and security for external users.
Define component architecture using Lightning Web Components (LWC) optimized for LWR constraints.
Design and implement robust integrations between Salesforce and SAP ERP using APIGEE and SAP CPI for customer data synchronization, job submission, and exposure of SAP transactional data.
Architect scalable integrations with external CMS (Adobe AEM) and Document Management Systems, ensuring secure document and content access.
Define and execute a portal transition strategy from the legacy portal to the new Salesforce Experience Cloud portal, enabling phased migration of capabilities and personas.
Serve as the primary Salesforce technical authority, establishing architecture principles, guardrails, and best practices, and guiding development teams on complex Salesforce, LWC, and integration patterns. 8–12+ years of Salesforce platform experience with a strong Experience Cloud focus, including designing and leading/guiding technical teams.
Hands-on expertise with LWC, Experience Builder, and external user security models.
Deep understanding of Salesforce data modeling, sharing, and external user constraints.
Experience across architecture, design, build, test, transition, and go-live phases.
Ability to partner closely with enterprise architecture, security, SAP, and middleware teams.
Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP ERP or equivalent enterprise ERPs.
Experience designing integrations using API-led architecture with APIGEE (or similar) and SAP CPI.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous patterns, eventing, and orchestration. These will help you stand out
Experience integrating Salesforce portals with Adobe AEM or similar CMS platforms.
Experience with Document Management Systems and secure document delivery patterns.
Understanding of headless or hybrid portal architectures.
Experience integrating Salesforce Experience Cloud with enterprise IAM solutions like Microsoft Entra ID.

Salary and Other Compensation We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $100,000 p.a.– $135,000 p.a. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications.
