Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our family dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in creating a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry.
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary.
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks related to patient flow.
- Assist with the fabrication of dental appliances and other laboratory procedures as needed.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials to ensure clinic readiness.
Skills
- Level 2 Dental Assistant
- Proficiency in Abeldent software
- Experience with Trios digital is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
- Familiarity with CAD technology for digital impressions or lab work is a plus.
- Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques, infection control protocols, and sterilization procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical setting.
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in administrative roles within dentistry is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
