Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including food handling and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in setting up lounge areas for events or regular service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly without compromising quality
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, promoting positive experiences throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness
- Hospitality or food service experience is a plus, along with basic knowledge of food handling procedures
